AvaTrade Code 128979: What You Actually Get

People message me about partner codes all the time. Always the same thing: AvaTrade Partner Code - 128979 can you get free trades or lower spreads?

Nope. AvaTrade doesn't charge commission on forex. You pay the spread. That's the cost. A partner code has no impact on spreads.

The code 128979 activates the bonus program. Additional trading capital depending on your deposit. Simple as that.

How much do you get?

Put in $1,000, receive $200 bonus.

$2,000 adds $400.

Deposits between $5,000 and $9,999 get $1,000.

Maximum bonus is $14,000 for deposits above $100,000. Most people won't hit that.

British traders get £160 bonus on £800 deposits. Goes to £11,200 at the top.

Account minimum is $100. Minimum for any bonus is $1,000.

The code field isn't obvious

Registration page. Once you've filled in your phone number, you'll see small text reading "Have a Partner Code?". Click on that text. The field expands. Type **128979**.

People overlook it constantly because it's hidden.

If you see an error, it's fine. Go ahead and register anyway. Message your account manager before you deposit. Request partner code 128979 be added. They do this manually all the time.

You can't withdraw the bonus straight away

You need to trade a certain volume.

Roughly 10,000 units traded per $1 bonus. You'd need to trade 2,000,000 units to unlock a $200 bonus. Can take time with smaller position sizes. Happens faster than you'd think if you're active.

Your own money stays yours. Access it whenever you need. The bonus stays locked until you hit the volume.

Something useful to understand: while the bonus is locked, it still counts toward your margin. This lets you take bigger positions. That breathing room helps while you're learning.
